Dump Truck Operator

Day-to-day duties

• Operate rigid dump trucks 40–200t
• Working with wet weather and site conditions
• Radio comms with the pit
• Fatigue management

Requirements

• HR licence
• White Card
• Standard 11
• Sometimes just LR + on-site VOC for smaller trucks

Training pathway

• On-site induction and truck-specific VOC

Career outlook

Great entry point in the Goldfields — smaller trucks, shorter ramps, more willing to train.
