Day-to-day duties

  • Inspect, repair and replace conveyor components, crushers and screens
  • Work to tight shutdown schedules and isolations
  • Coordinate with planners, trade crews and OEM specialists
  • Complete work packs, permits and JSEAs
  • Return plant to production on time and safely

Requirements

  • Relevant trade ticket (mechanical fitter, boilermaker, rigger, electrician, etc.)
  • Confined Space
  • Working at Heights
  • Standard 11
  • Experience in shutdown execution preferred

Training pathway

  • Site-specific shutdown induction
  • Isolation and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) training
  • Crane and rigging coordination VOCs
