AllTrainingWA / Site Skills Training
Short-Course Ticket Specialists

Overview
Site Skills Training and its sister brand AllTrainingWA occupy a specific niche in the WA mining ecosystem: they are the RTOs of choice for candidates who already have (or are about to receive) a job offer contingent on producing a specific ticket stack within days, not weeks. Their timetable is engineered around this urgency — courses are short (one to five days), run continuously across Perth (Welshpool, Malaga), Karratha, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and Bunbury, and can be bundled so a candidate walks in on a Monday morning with a White Card and walks out the following Friday with Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres, Dogging and EWP. That density of ticketing inside a single billable week is precisely what shutdown planners, contractor recruiters and labour hire firms want to see on a resume.
Courses & offerings
The core short-course catalogue is the shutdown and construction ticket stack: Dogging (CPCCLDG3001, four days plus assessment), Basic Rigging (CPCCLRG3001), Intermediate Rigging (CPCCLRG3002), Advanced Rigging (CPCCLRG4001), Elevated Work Platform over 11 metres (TLILIC0005), Forklift (TLILIC0003), Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E), Confined Space Entry (RIIWHS202E) and its companion Gas Test Atmospheres (MSMWHS217), Enter and Work in Confined Spaces, Fire Warden, Chemical Awareness, and site-specific inductions for BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG and Roy Hill. High Risk Work Licence classes convert directly into physical WorkSafe cards. Refresher versions of every course are also available for tickets that require renewal.
Career outcomes & earnings
The graduates of these short courses are rarely first-timers — they are typically people who have already worked one or more swings and are stacking tickets to unlock higher-paying work streams. Dogging plus Basic Rigging is the entry point to shutdown crews, where day rates of $700 to $1,100 are common for a 12-hour night shift. Advanced Rigging combined with EWP unlocks structural steel and conveyor work at $850–$1,200 per day. Gas Test Atmospheres, added to a Confined Space ticket, is one of the highest per-hour uplifts in the sector because the certified gas tester is required to stand by whenever anyone enters the space. Most graduates return to their existing labour hire agency (Programmed, WorkPac, Chandler Macleod, One Key) with the fresh tickets and go directly onto the next shutdown roster.
Insider tips
Bundle courses across a single week to save money and avoid multiple trips to Perth. Bring your existing High Risk Work Licence card and any prior Statements of Attainment — Recognition of Prior Learning can knock days off some courses. Do not book Advanced Rigging until you have logged real Basic and Intermediate hours on-site; assessors will fail unrealistic paper credentials fast, and it wastes a full week's fee.
